My name is Marcin Mielczarek
I was born in northern Poland, Gdansk.
Art and creativity were always around me. From a young age, I was inspired by my father’s paintings of surrealistic visions of desert worlds. After graduating from State Arts School in Gdynia and meeting my wife I decided to move to western Pomerania. Little did I know that I returned to my family lands. My grandfather was born circa 50km from my current house.
Now inspired by calm views of the countryside and near sea weather I create various paintings. From calm landscapes to visions from my dreams. At home, I mostly paint in Oil but on set, I prefer Gouache paints i love the feel and handling of them.

Nordic Martin ist mein Künstlername, wer hätte das gedacht? ;)
Mein Name ist Marcin Mielczarek
Ich wurde im Norden Polens, Danzig, geboren.
Kunst und Kreativität waren immer um mich herum. Schon in meiner Jugend ließ ich mich von den Gemälden meines Vaters mit surrealistischen Visionen von Wüstenwelten inspirieren. Nach meinem Abschluss an der Staatlichen Kunstschule in Gdynia und dem Kennenlernen meiner Frau beschloss ich, nach Westpommern zu ziehen. Ich wusste damals nicht, dass ich in das Land meiner Familie zurückkehrte. Mein Großvater wurde etwa 50 km von meinem jetzigen Zuhause entfernt geboren.
Inspiriert von ruhigen Ausblicken auf die Landschaft und dem Wetter in der Nähe des Meeres fertige ich nun verschiedene Gemälde an. Von ruhigen Landschaften bis hin zu Visionen aus meinen Träumen. Zu Hause male ich hauptsächlich in Öl, aber am Set verwende ich Gouachefarben, weil ich deren Haptik und Handhabung schätze.
